I thought she looked fantastic in the game I watched vs Bearden. Showed of I high understanding of the game, and her teammates. I was impressed with her court vision, and she dropped some beautiful times. Against a stingy Bearden defense, she had great awareness of when to attack the rim, shoot it, or swing it. I really liked what she showed.

High level athlete with a high level motor. Vs Bearden I watched her produce countless extra possessions with how hard she crashed the offensive glass. And, where as many kids will grab and offensive board and force up a quick contested shot, she knew when to kick for inside-out threes. Offensively, she’s continuing to improve: Coach Barrett had her at the FT line, and she showed flashes of high level passing and the ability to face up and attack the rim. High IQ kid that understands her role on this particular team, and starred in that role at BCAT.
As I continued to watch more and more of the game, she continued to flash incredible vision in Lebanon’s offense.

Vs Lebanon, she showed off her diversified skill set. She wasn’t settling for 3’s, but instead did a great job evaluating closeouts and making quick reads as to whether to shoot, drive or pass. I really think she’ll be a high level role player wherever she ends up in college, but at the HS level, she was obviously one of the best on the floor. Showed really nice athleticism when she got out in transition, and understands that if she sprints the floor, Hodge will always find her.

Her physical tools jumped off the floor when I watched her play. He kid already had a college ready frame, and is one of the strongest kids on the floor. She flashed high IQ, knowing when to cut, interchange, and was constantly moving without the ball. She’s so powerful once she catches around the rim, and will only get better. She’s going to be big time D1.

It’s really obvious that Lebanon wants the ball in Spencer’s hands as quickly as possible, and she was going HARD at the paint until she drew a defender. Bearden had a tough time keeping her out of the paint, and her quickness is legit. She just slithers past the help defender, and has multiple “pickups” that allow her to get to the rim. She also looked really nice from three.

I really liked what I saw from Hunt. She understands her role in Bearden’s system, and plays it to perfection. She really competes defensively. Offensively, if you leave her open she’s gonna knock it down, and if you closeout poorly she’s going to attack the rim and make a play for a teammate. I came away really impressed by her.
